Wolverine Appearances in Publication Order (1985-1986) v1.01

By 1985-1986, Marvel Universe-wide crossovers were becoming the norm. Secret Wars was followed by Secret Wars II, horrible mini-series dictated by Jim Shooter. By the end of 1986, the Mutant Massacre ran across the Marvel Mutant Universe, heralding a new era of yearly events hitting comic stores conveniently over the summer. But on the bright side, covers started to increase in quality in 1986, with a series of brilliant covers depicting Wolverine closing out the year. As mentioned before, it is hard it is to capture every single Wolverine appearance., so bear with me as I add issues I've missed (but feel free to point out what you think I missed by emailing me at DiG@typingmonkeys.com). Entries in red denote 'nonsense' appearances (such as Marvel's Fun and Games Magazine), appearances that are clearly for comedic purposes only (such as What the...?!), cover only appearances, and non-appearances that are frequently cited as geniune appearances.

I welcome any and all comments, questions and corrections, and I can be reached at DiG@typingmonkeys.com. And if you are from Marvel Comics and want to offer me a job writing (or are overwhelmed by my compulsive nature), please don't hesitate to give me a shout.
